Can I heat gun the paint off cabinets and redo?
I live in my family home place which was built back in 1945. My Dad built kitchen cabinets out of plywood and I painted over them many years ago to change the look. They did not fit well when I rehung and the paint is peeling off at tops and sides where paint was to thick. thanks , gonna start project.
I used Goof Off. You spray it on, wait a few minutes and scrape the paint off! Wear a mask because it’s caustic/strong odor but it works great. You may need a few cans if you’re doing all your cabinets though. It’s about $8 to $9. a can.
And WEAR GLOVES!!!
