Hi S. I'm Cindy. You can actually purchase a "soaker hose" (which is just a hose with pin holes down the entire length) That's what I use in my vegetable garden. It allows me to water the soil (and roots) and not the leafs. It has made a remarkable difference with my harvest. You could make a DIY soaker hose by putting holes down the entire length of a regular hose. I hope this helps you. Good luck.

Buy a cheap hose or use one you already have. Cap one end off and drill tiny holes where you want the water to come out or mist.
