make a paste of baking soda and water, not too runny, and scrub away!

for bottom of pans, and Weisman’s liquid oven wipes for burnt on foods w / grease.
Hello Beverly, use first BonAmi with a steel wool pad, then use SOS.
Also you can put 2 or 3 inches of soapy water in pan and boil on stovetop. Don’t let it boil down and burn up. This works great for burned on food also. If this is the case, during the boil, scrape the bottom of the pan with plastic spatula to work off crud. If it’s really bad it might take a little while to boil off.
