Curtains/blinds? How to keep them closed at night and open at day?
We have a 3-section window in our bedroom and I'm trying to find the EASIEST (both in installlation and open/close after) way to keep close them at nite and open for day...need an easy way as it's hard to move here...and I'm not very technically gifted as far as installation, either!

How about vertical blinds, you can buy short ones, then you'd have only one cord to worry about and it would be easy to open and close.
I have drapes with grommets and a nice simple decorative black rod that they slide open and closed on. I slide them open in the morning and close them at night. Four to six screws to put up the rods and then slide the drapes on. You can buy heavier light blocking drapes to block the light or insulated drapes. The grommet tops make for easy opening and closing and you can throw them in the wash! No cleaning the blinds!!
Yes, sorry.
Sorry to say, yes they can be.
