Are you suggesting that this be pure rubbing alcohol with nothing mixed into it?

Baking soda, sprinkled liberally over mattress. You can use a small brush to rub it in. Leave few hours, the vacuum. You can purchase mattress covers that zip on, and use quilted mattress pads on top, which can be laundered on gentle cycle and dried on very low heat in a larger capacity dryer.

I spray mine with 90% rubbing alcohol, and vinegar with essential oils till damp. I let dry then vacuum. It smells fresh and clean. You can also use a steam cleaner on it as well.
