What type of door needs the paint..wood, metal?
Just paint it. If he doesn’t like it let him change it. It’s only paint.
When you get him to agree please share how. I have been trying to get my man to agree to a lot of painting projects. I told him I will take care of painting (he HATES to paint because he used to paint for a living) but he just likes things to stay the same. LOL.
Feminine wiles ;-) and if that doesn't work it is easier to get forgiveness than permission.
If it is already a painted surface repainting is not a big deal, but a wood stain finish would be hard to restore if he really disliked the paint job.
Good luck.
My husband still grumbles about the color I painted the door and our bath and refuses to let me paint the dark oak paneling.
Just do it!
Be wary about using mechanically separated ground turkey! It always makes my husband and me ill. We don’t buy it any more.
