Is this for a laundry room? Check your local building codes, but the codes are different for 220 than for a bathroom that requires GFCI.
FAR AWAY! :)
I am sorry. I was trying to be amusing. Usually 220 lines come in the cellar where your fuse box is if you have a house with a cellar. In my house the fusebox is in my bedroom and that is about 6 to ten feet from my bathroom. Two twenty entries are dangerous to work with, as I am sure you know. It isn't something I would try to work with. If you need a 220 entry, I would recommend an electrician. Also check with your town or city to see if you need any permits to do electrical work. When working with electric wiring always be sure to turn off the circuit breakers to the circuits you are working on. Good luck with your project.
