I think a soft green would be pretty. It's not too far from gray, but would definitely stand out. I also think it would look nice with the stone and roof color.

If I were you, I'd check Architects Digest for ideas. They're marvelous for
everything though I can't afford to buy a copy. Next, I'd browse the
web sites for realtor dot com and/or redfin dot com. Both networks
serve the U.S. nationally for listings of rentals and sales, even foreclosures
and shorts. But it's the restorations that would apply to your church, so
just look at exteriors of for sale properties. I also like the website Itsy
for ideas.
You can select any city in the U.S. in any state, so you'll be busy for a long
time. Your church has many 'twins' in Ohio, Indiana and California, so I
would start with those states. The more populated cities would be the
easiest and fastest to tackle first. Always 'save' any exteriors you might
want to re-view, and make a list by city, state, cost of property or MLS #
so you can refer later again if necessary.
I would definitely 'mull' your choice for a week before pay for paint.
Good luck, Faith Little
I would go with maybe a blue/gray, like the home at the top of this page: https://www.google.com/amp/s/seattle.curbed.com/platform/amp/maps/victorian-homes-for-sale-washington-seattle?source=images
Thank you Lauren!
With that beautiful architecture, I think a dark blue with white trim would be stunning!
Re: Faith's suggestion to look in Architect's Digest magazine
Your local library might have copies. Also, check out This Old House magazine, which many libraries receive.
You can borrow them free of charge.
Very cool! I’d get some paint brochures that show various color suggestions. There are some awesome ones for Victorian houses which would work here. I think 3 complimenting colors.
No Suggestions, but please post post pics of finished project when complete, inside and out.
You could use white and green. Churches use these colors to symbolize joy and the growth of new life respectively.
