Hi Deb,
Before you can fix it, you have to find the source of the leak and either repair it yourself or hire someone to do it. If you replace the wood before finding the leak the new wood will have the same problem. My guess is that it's coming from somewhere on the roof and following beams to that location. It might not be directly above the place where it's coming through. You could talk to a Home Inspector, a Roofer or a General Contractor to help find the leak and make recommendations. To find someone, you can try homeadvisor.com , angieslist.com (which is now free to find a contract) or you could join nextdoor.com which is a website with neighborhood groups and then ask for recommendations from neighbors. Wishing you success with your project.

Linda is correct. The leak needs to located and repaired first. If the wood is not warped or moldy it can dry out. With curved glass panels I assume the glass seal has failed. One way to try to locate the leak is to have a garden hose on low water with out any nozzle. Pour the water on the glass starting at the bottom in a small area while someone is inside waiting for it to leak. Slowly work the water up the glass panels until it does leak. Now you found the general area that can be repaired. I have done this on shingle roofs and always had success in finding leaks.
Not sure where you live , and is not important. does it happen only when rains? or just for no reason the water appears ? But you need to seal the wood with Teak oil. But 1st.
treat the wood with Benite its a conditioner for wood. Then apply Teak oil you can use a mild Bleach solution on the wood before the Benite or add new trim pieces to cover
