From an apt. dweller, no access to large equipment, but smaller ideas?

I don’t have access to power tools, but would love to see smaller projects with hand tools. Any chance?

  • There are already many projects that fit your description on the site. Have you scrolled through some of the sections?

I don't have any specific projects, but have worked in confined spaces, without power tools, often. It requires a bit more planning and patience. Be sure to protect other areas from dust or paint. Be prepared to have a 'mess' in view till things are completed. Hand sanding is recommended, as well as hand painting with a brush vs. spray paint. Most techniques can be adapted to your situation. Good luck.

I have constructed many items using just hand tools (from bookshelves to animal cages to desks) Granted it does take longer in many cases, but it can be done. I would recommend that any wood you cut be done over a sweepable floor rather than on a carpeted area and no hammering after 9PM.
