How do I find the right sized couch?
My living room/den is the heat of the house (for me, hubby & kitty). We eat breakfast there every weekday morning because we can sit on the couch for devotion. The kitty has nearly trashed the old couch and it’s time for a new one but I don’t want to overwhelm the room with couch. Any suggestions?

Hi Cecia! I’d start with how you feel about your current couch - is it too big? Too small? Then work up or down from there with your choosing. :) Robin

Your sofa should not dominate the room. You should allow space for end tables on both sides. The upholstery should be heavy duty, but cleanable, because you own a pet and consume food and beverages there.
There is this awesome company called Home Reserve that has all different sized couches that you can create. They are customizable to fit into your space and needs :)
We just got a new sectional from Home Reserve in our playroom which you can see here: https://www.aratariathome.com/blog/playroom-makeover-reveal
