A tile mural would look nice.
I would add a strip of mosaic tile. If you haven't added tile before, we documented our experience with using the Musselbound adhesive. https://www.ourhomemadeeasy.com/how-to-install-a-tile-backsplash-easily/
Ship lap is super popular!
Paint a fake window looking out at a sea shore or other calming scene. Makes the space feel more open. Your artistic talents are shown off and you can choose your color scheme
Try a plain colored tile with Mosaic diamond or square inserts that accent the plain tile color randomly scattered across the wall.
I had a similar area in my old home. I made a deep floating shelf. One side I had a large framed mirror with trim on like it was window panes it gave depth. A large black cauldron looking bowl but it was plastic like for salsa and something like a mortar and pestle look. Some fresh lavender in a tall glass vase with whatever other scents you would want going on. Than a mosaic tile pattern in patches on wall. Have fun with it. I love bubble baths. I made it my Sancuaty!!
