Is there help for an old DIY’ER?
I want to redo my kitchen cabinets but need some help with it. I see that there is someone called a DIY HELPPER! How do you go about finding a HELPER to help with paint colors and what would work best. I am a life time DIY’ER but health reason makes it hard to do large projects. The mind and spirit is still a DIY’ER but the body and age makes it difficult. Is their help for me in the DIY WORLD of such talented people. I could pay a painter but I’d rather have a person with the love and passion for what they create. I am in Kentwood, La.

Ask a DIY Expert Online | A Technician Answers You NowWelcome to the club! I too am a diy'er of somewhat sound mind but failing body! There are a lot of things that I've learned through the years that is difficult if not impossible for my body to allow me to do now. I too would love to find some willing mind with an able body that would want to learn. My biggest downfall is lack of imagination, especially with colors! I am presently redoing a 1910 Greek Revival. It's in pretty good shape but needing a lot of procrastinated general maintenance and painting. Like you, it sounds, I need some help with colors. I know what I like and don't like but not too good with deciding what goes where. Lol. Good luck to you in your venture and the best of health to you!
My favorite answer PINTREST
Great. I am not great with computer savvy but I found pintrest and also Siri if I am stumped. I found there is a way to even find printed paper for the mini houses I make and that I can print them for free. Took awhile but I got the knack but had to use my husbands computer. Good luck on your project. One other thought about pintrest I HAVE BECOME A BETTER COOK WITH THE RECIEPIS I LOOK UP! Just saying.
