You need to calculate finished weight, and know whether you're installing on plaster or drywall. Weights like this must be installed with anchors, into studs. You'll also need wiring that can withstand the total downward force.
The best option is to screw, or nail into a wall stud. You can find tour studs with a ‘stud finder’. They used to be iffy as far as where a stud is, but the ones that are sold now are pretty accurate. They are also cheap.
You may wish to check into French cleats. Very secure, not expensive.
We did it in our bathroom with french cleats we got at lowe's. Weigh the mirror for the size you need, get a set and make sure to anchor them in the studs.
Install 2 wall anchors for your wall type (plaster, or dry wall) into studs.
Suspend mirror wire evenly, from two screws designed for use with wall anchors.
That mirror is not that big or heavy.
Maybe 20x30 and 20 pounds?
I hope that the frame isn't plastic. Plastic is for picnic utensils not decor!
Regular picture hooks and wire would be fine, just use hooks made to hold 50+ lbs.
If you want to be extra safe, use 2 hooks and having directly from each D-ring instead of the wire.
Damn spill chock
You can also find studs by measuring every 16" away from a corner. Then check with small nail or lg pin where the edges of it are so you can know where you'll be able to use it. If your picture is wider than that, no problem you can either measure on your picture frame where to put hooks, or if the picture is narrower than 16" using one hook (if it's very heavy, you'll be sure your hook is heavy enough to accommodate it and use wire in that case so you will have tow places on the pic. that will be bearing the weight of it. Even if a picture is large enough to fit over two studs but not 3, with wire you can still center it on your space. I could go on... :-) Good luck with your project.
Buy some gallery hangers. They metal rods that you screw into the wall and they're sold by the weight of the item you want to hang. You can get them at Lowe's.
