How can I grow a peach tree from a peach pit?
I would like to know if I can grow a fruit bearing peach tree from a peach pit. Can I do it if I use the almond looking seed that is in the middle of the hard pit?

Hello Susan,. I'd go to the library, and look at some books on planting fruit. You don't have to check the books out, just bring paper aand pen with you. It might need sun, or be put in the dirt say 3 inches or more. My mother planted a peach pit in our yard, and I believe it took 3 years to bare fruit. I was a young child when she did this, we also had a fig tree. Aloha!
