How to paint kitchen cabinets?

I just got through painting my Builder grade cabinets ...I used Chalk paint and it did a great job ....I am going to put a coat of clear poly on them so that they will be able to wipe down in case they get dirty .......I also did the inside with contact paper ...another reason for the poly

I've heard different stories too. I've heard to lightly sand and prime, but then I've heard to just paint them? Hard to tell which one is correct. I'd really like to know too. ;-)

How to Paint Oak Cabinets WHITE

It is super easy to paint your kitchen cabinets with Dixie Belle.

1. Clean with White Lightning

2.Paint one to two coats Dixie Belle Slick Stick

3. Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral paint

4.Use Gator Hide for a water resistant finish.
