Candy, most outdoor paints should work well, but depending on the kind of paint and how well it adheres, you may need a primer first. Check out this post. She used oil-based primer for her. Honestly, I'm always a fan of just using a spray paint with a primer in it for outdoor projects.
Clean with Dawn, rinse let dry, make sure it’s thoroughly dry, paint with paint brush. or try this https://www.hometalk.com/diy/outdoor/furniture/from-blah-to-brilliant-updated-front-porch-seating-and-seat-chusions-36787930

Clean and spray paint! Spray paint with a primer in it works wonders on outdoor furniture!!
Clean, prime and spray paint! Then use a spray sealer and they will be good as new! :)
I would start with cleaning. Spray paint is always a great option. If you have a paint sprayer, you can use a paint made for outdoors that resists dirt and fading. That way the work you put into it will last! And of course, seal it. I recently used polycrylic to seal my outdoor chairs and has done an amazing job protecting them.
Dixie Belle Paint can be used on Wicker and it works great! One of the things I like to do is to put into a sprayer. You can use 8 parts of paint to 2 parts water or Floetrol. It works great and coverage is awesome. I would recommend if you want a Bright happy red, Honky Tonk Red is pretty, or if you want a more subdued red our Barn Red is very popular. Good Luck and please let me know if you have anymore questions! - Teri at DBP

You definitely want to start with clean furniture, so clean it. Let it dry well, in the sun preferably. Choose your color of spray paint which has primer already in it. Paint. When completely covered and dry spray paint a couple coats of sealer on them. They're gonna look fab!
