How do I paint cloth?
What is the best way to paint the (off white) cloth seat cushion/pad on a kitchen chair? What type paint is recommended, and is there a need for any type of sealer?

you can get an additive at craft stores to add to your paint. the additive keeps the cloth pliable. if you use regular craft paint the paint may harden and flake off. the other option is to dye the seat cushions. about sealers....i'm an old fart. never saw any instructions on the labels as to the products needing "sealing".
The "additive" Dfm is talking about is called Textile Medium. Then you can use any acrylic paint as a fabric paint. Directions are on the bottle. Good luck!
Thank you so much!
