Mcn, Hi. You can purchase a glass cutter from a craft store. Michael's ACMoore Hobby Lobby. Aloha!
Wrap some string around the bottle. Saturate only the string with acetone nail polish remover. Light the string. When the flame goes out dunk it in cold water. Sand the edges smooth with emery cloth emery nail file.
You can buy a glass cutter at the craft store that the bottle sits in and you turn the bottle. It makes a fine line around the bottle when it is cut and some you need to put into cold water to separate the pieces.
