How do you make shower doors easier to slide
To shower doors did slats on a track one is easy gliding in the other one is hard how do you make him both easier to slide
Assume you want 2 doors that overlap. You need twice the width of the door for the door to move. You need some type of track or groove (top and bottom) for the door to ride in. The door will need to have ears that fit into the tracks. More details may be needed to get a better answer. I have had a utility cabinet that used 1/4" hardboard as doors. There was two 1/4" grooves. The top groove was deeper so I could insert back door into top and then into bottom. The front door went in the same way. I have never seen a nice cabinet door (kitchen) that slides.
Your question made me think of this awesome project from my friend! https://www.anikasdiylife.com/diy-sliding-barn-door-cabinet-drawers/
I agree with Ken, I've never seen a nice looking sliding cabinet door. Plus you'd lose space in the cabinet.
