Usually a wall is erected in lofts that can be 8' to 10' high. For lots of storage, most lofts I've been in make a long hall consisting of large storage cabinets connected together on both sides leading into the main space. https://www.google.com/search?q=pictures+of+loft+entrance+walls&client=opera&hs=yNj&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjKofPihrzdAhVQIDQIHVYUBQAQsAR6BAgGEAE&biw=1473&bih=696
Then some use large bookcases to frame an opening foran entrance, this was always my favorite as I would take the bookcases wherever I went.
I am very fond of the Ikea Kallax bookcase that give some division but allow you to use the space as a display area for art like glass or pottery. Can use basket or fabric cubes for storage. Comes in 4 colors. https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70301537/#/70301542
