What can I do? I have no room but I LOVE sliding barn door style!

I would like to replace the door towards my bathroom with a sliding barn door.

However this door is mounted right into the corner of the kitchen so no room to slide to the left side. To the right side there is not enough room ( I have read that you need at least double length for the wall mounts then the with of the door if this makes sense) I do not have that much space as the kitchen furniture starts there.

If needed I can upload a picture to show that small area.
The need for a sort of sliding door is to gain more room in that tiny kitchen so that I can place a fridge there.

Please upload a photo! But, you can do what I am going to do with my bathroom, put up double sliding doors - two small ones vs. one large one. Here is an example of what I am referring:

Thanks for that idea. But as mentioned before there is no room at all to the left of this door .. so sliding half a door there to open is impossible.

Can you do a door that only slides in one direction instead of both?

What is on the other side of the doorway? Can you put the barn door on that side? Not as elegant a solution, but bifold doors might do the trick.

I wanted to do this to my powder room door to save space. But, after reading I found out that you do not get good coverage when closed, There will be a tiny crack all around - lack of privacy from sounds, etc.

Could you make them into pocket doors but still have the same look when they're closed
