Get dap or spackle and a putty knife. It's very easy. Just apply to home and use the speckle /putty knife to smooth it out. Let dry. Done
You might have to do some light sanding with a fine grit sandpaper to smooth out your repaired nail holes. It is an easy fix.
You can use Whit toothpaste or you can get putty at Walmart, or the home improvement stores. They can help you.

Spackle also works well and dries white in color. You can even wash off the excess later. However, make sure that you have all the paper tucked into the hole or cut off the excess so that the paper doesn't cause a bump.
Take a dab of caulk and smooth it over it with your finger.
