If you are talking about closet doors or pantry doors--it would look great!
Painted cabinet doors with natural cabinets look nice.
There are so many chalk color paints out there it would look great. Plus you could leave notes to ppl on them .
Here is a picture of just the front doors being painted. I did these myself and painted just the doors, nothing else, and they looked great and only took me one 8 oz container of paint to paint 8 cabinets.
