How do I prepare a painted table top for acrylic pour painting?
It's a small round table top with glossy gray paint on it. Do I spray it with primer? Paint it with two coats of gesso? I don't want my acrylic paints peeling off. Thank you for any suggestions.

Scuff it up first and prime with primer called grip it. Go to a paint store they should have it, not a box store
clean it well. lightly sand, wipe and perhaps a coat of primer.
This video might be of interest Denise. She's using resin rather than just acrylic paint so it's a bit more involved but I imagine you get a far harder wearing surface so it might be worth considering :)

Resin Table Top
Practice on a small piece first before doing something large. I suggest a 4x4 tile. It takes way more paint and pouring medium than you think. So perfect it on a small surface first.
