Hi Ellen MarIe , I have never tried it myself, but would suggest you might like to try
WD-40 as it loosens sticky labels. wipe it on the top! Just a thought - Was the denim label Ironed on, if so maybe warming it with a hair dryer might soften glue? Good luck!

I tried various chemical cleaners that did not entirely remove the blue transfer dyes from my cornsilk leatherette car seats. I purchased car seat covers. I hope that you find a satisfactory answer!
