Throw a large, clean, dry, towel in with them.
Shake all your damp laundry out thoroughly before putting it in the dryer and don't over-stuff the dryer with too many clothes. Use a dryer sheet.
Hi Brenda,
You could try putting 3 tennis balls or dryer balls in the dryer with the sheets.
Tennis balls in thedryer
Find the center(approx.) and shake it out and put back in dryer. You will be amazed how this works!
Take them out once or twice during the drying cycle and shake. Don't overload the dryer.
Lower the temp, put a large towel in with them and two sheets with cases at a time. Don’t overload. Sheets need to feel the wind...lol
I have tried all suggestions and they still bundle up, I have even tried to put just one sheet in the dryer by itself and they still bundle up. Help.
Here is an article that might help you - https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/hints-from-heloise-stop-sheets-from-balling-up/2015/02/11/7902c5fc-b157-11e4-854b-a38d13486ba1_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.ad288441d67a
Hang them over the door to dry...I gave up on the dryer a long time ago, nothing works, they dry over the door in no time and then just fold them up and put them away. Saves time and money. When they are dry you can always iron them if you find them wrinkled but hey, they will wrinkle as soon as you sleep in them anyway!
If you have a newer washer and dryer, most notably a Samsung, because of the way they're made, sheets and blankets always end up in a ball. I have the Samsung and I haven't found anything that works, so I just stop the dryer midway through the cycle and shake it out and put it back in. A friend of mine had the same set and she got so frustrated with it she took them back to the store and bought a different brand.
Have you tried some of the dryer balls? https://www.amazon.com/Laundry-Dryer-Balls-Alternative-Softener/dp/B078PPH7KS/ref=asc_df_B078PPH7KS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=242021929341&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5278792230958094583&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028749&hvtargid=pla-411489512550&psc=1
Don't buy a Samsung. Balls up sheets and sensors don't work leaving you with wet clothes.
I’ve tried everything and nothing works.
I have finally found the solution, after six years of searching. A small, square pillow, 16" X 16" flattish, no more than 2 or 3 inches stuffed, put in with my sheets; and my sheets no longer ball up. It is a miracle. Please, pass this on to everyone you know, who has the same problem.

keep fitted sheets from balling up by folding in 1/2 and use large safety pins to pin edges together. I use 5 for a full size sheet. Been doing this for about 3 years now, works every time.
Hi Brenda: Well, when you take the item out of the washing machine, shake it out a bit so it's not in a ball. Then, put it into the dryer to one side that then put the next article, shaken out, next to that until you have about 3 or 4 items. Then, put another level on top of that and no more clothes in the dryer. Too many items will make things ball up, but in reality, sheets just love to ball up :( You can try checking in the middle of the cycle and straighten out any that are balling up.
