Try the dollar store look for rubber mats cut them for each pot there size
That stuff they sell for shelf liners. It's rubbery with lots of little holes in it. Google Duck Select Shelf Liner. It's about 5-6 dollars a roll and would work great for you.
Use plain paper towels between the rubber if you go that way. In storage they can stick to the cookware. No print.
Thanks Hometalkers! These ideas are great, I actually have a couple rolls of shelf liner with grid holes. Great advice on the paper towels to avoid sticking. You have been very helpful.
When we lived full-time in an RV, my friend and I made 'bags' for each pot or frypan to keep them from scratching as well as rattling down the road. Now that we have 'landed' I use just a paper plate and it works fine as I nestle my pans/fry pans in the cupboards and I don't want to ruin the nonstick coating. Not any work involved.
I use paper towels or bubble wrap the smaller kind, I use them with my stoneware bowls, between my stoneware cookware,my stainless & enamel coated pots & pans too. I think the paper towels work best plain cheap white ones, then change them out every so often and use old ones for cleaning stuff like windows or for the pet's messes
Go to your favourite hobby store and buy felt squares. you can make it look like the cardboard ones you have as a template.
