I want to remove stains from a marble table!
Anyone have an idea for cleaning heat and liquid stains from a marble table top?
It takes a long while, but I removed a water stain on my marble table by constant polishing it with toothpaste. At first I left a huge gob of paste for around 3 hours.....removed paste......then reapplied.......wipe off with clean cloth...etc. Too kind me two days.....but did not harm the marble and it looks great.
Marble is a soft stone. I would use polishing compound.

Have you tried using mineral oil? Since marble is a soft stone it can actually dry out and crack if not treated properly.
I used it on the tile in my master bath and it looked like it had just been installed. I was pretty impressed.
So simple. Make a paste of baking soda and water. Place it over the stain. Cover with plastic wrap. Let it dry overnight. Then just wipe off.
