How do I insulate windows?
Is there a way to winterize window without them looking "Winterized?" Still like to open them occasionally, since we don't really get standard winters here.

I read that you could use bubble wrap. Just cut to size then use soapy water. Spray soapy water on window then put bubble wrap on window. Soapy water will stick bubble wrap.
Caulk all around the windows. Since you still want to open them sometimes, get a clear vinyl. Cut it to the size of the glass. It will stick with a squirt of water. Use the edge of a credit card to smooth out the vinyl. Start from the center and work out to the edge. You will be surprised how warm the glass feels by doing this.
Hanging insulated drapes also help.

The bubble wrap works, but you loose your view. What type of window do you have? If you have window glides on each side of the window..those leak air.ive cut strips of silvered bubble wrap and put over the glides. You can get plastic films to cover the windows, but don’t use the adhesive supplied. Use a low tack painters tape. You can pull it up and hold the plastic above the window.
