going to leave the natural wood
Suggestions for paint?
I just bought this piece and I'm going to use as a bar in my living room. I want to paint this a soft gray with a glaze or distressing to it, any suggestions and where can I get instructions? Thank you.

Hello Marian
Have you considered Chalk paint?
I favor the Rustoleum products, their products and support are fabulous. Perhaps it might be available in a color —that you like?
Heres some helpful links, I hope this helps!

Using a chalk paint which you can make your own, indoor flat paint with a cup of flour mix well. It's nice and thick and sands well. And you don't need to use expensive glaze. You can pick up some unique knobs at any habitat store, for next to nothing or if you live in the states Good Will will have some great stuff.
I make these alot. I also have used corks for handles hope this helps
Chalk paint would work best on the piece. I recently did a project with gray and distressed it. You can check out my tips here http://beautyforasheshome.com/thrift-store-table-flip-chalk-paint/
