How do I fix a counter top burn?
I just burned my kitchen counter top with an iron!! Any suggestions? Baking soda did not remove the dark stain. Nor did bleach.

Hi. Measure a cutting board and cut out that section of countertop and install. You can also faux paint over the damage. Good luck!
I removed an old cigarette stain with toothpaste, not the gel kind, rubbed it on and let it set overnight.
All you can do is cut out the damaged part. Fill with wood putty. Sand smooth. Use craft paints to get a close color match. Won't be perfect but better than it is.
Your burn has turned into a scar - it can't be fixed. Cut it out and replace with a cutting board or something contrasting.
TRY PEROXIDE
If you have homeowners insurance call them and report it and you should be able to get the whole thing replaced. If you have a deductible you will need to pay that.
That doesn’t look fixable but hopefully in a spot you can cover with a cutting board as others suggested or if you are a baker maybe a marble slab.
Y best solution was to go to tile store. Buy complimentary stone have it cut rectangular,I used large floor tile and put stick on feet nubs and it looked great
There is a kit you can buy to refinish your counters. You may have to fill and sand the burned part to smooth it before doing to kit. Rustoleum makes one.
