You'll have to tape it in place to stencil. Not easy, but you can do it.
l agree with Kelli..tape really good!
Another hint I came across....use small rubber bands or hair ties on the stencil brush to tighten the bristles for more complete coverage of the stenciled area. Makes sense if your brush is getting well used!

Tape the stencil around the curve , use a sharpie , paint brush or whatever you are using . ( use a small brush . )
