Easy Peasy. Soak it in warm water to cover the rumpled leather shoelace. when it is completely saturated, lay it straight on something flat and it will dry straight.
Try getting them damp and lay out straight. Put tension on them so they don't shrink when they dry, this should also help with the straightening process.
Hi Mickey, you can oak them in water for a few hours and then hang them on a towel rack to dry. They should turn out fairly straight.
