How can I turn my wall AC unit into a window unit?
I have a wall ac and would rather place it in the window i know a window unit cannot be placed in the wall because vents are on the sides and will not vent properly, how ever the wall ac unit vents are in the back would it work in the window?

I would check to see if the backside is weatherproof if you are planning on putting it in the window. You can always get the model number and check with the manufacturer.
I've seen window units permanently installed into an outside wall, mind you one will see the back end of the unit and the surrounding area nicely restored like a window.
If it will fit in the window no problem. Window units can be placed in walls. The "vents" on the sides are just for air circulation not the operation of the unit. Check the voltage. Some wall units are too heavy for window frames and are 220 volts rather than 120 volts like most window units are.
