Hi. Typically a Tudor style has lots of wood, so if this is the case with your room you can go two ways for an updated style: very light or very dark on the wood. If you decide to go to the darker side of the upscale look, increase your lighting 2-fold in the room. For a lighter version there's no rule that says the woodwork must be white. Choose a coffee and cream look in the room for a crisp New York style. Happy decorating!
