How do you use CLR on a plugged showerhead?
I tried the vinegar and water solution suggested, but it didn't work. Do you use the same process with CLR meaning wrapping the showerhead in a bag overnight?

Not sure where I got it, but I do some acetylene welding and there is a tool that has a complete set of "wires" with grit like a file on them to clean the tiny tips of the welding handle. Pick the right tip, and clean the holes. I have done this MANY times on any tiny holes that plug up. You can start with the smallest, and work up to the actual diameter of the hole. You may have to find this tool on lone. LOOK FOR "acetylene tip cleaner"
Hi Sherry,
Please take a moment to read the CLR directions on the label to make sure you are using it correctly.
I've used the vinegar to do this, but straight vinegar, no water, and left it as long as I could, and it worked just fine. You can do it the same way as with vinegar, or you can unscrew the shower head & put it in a plastic container, then pour the CLR on it. After it's soaked a bit, rinse it well & use the welder's tool to clean out the holes. If that doesn't work, you may have to just buy a new one. Be sure to do this in a well ventilated area and wear heavy rubber or latex gloves, and eye protection!
