I would add yellow towels for sure and some yellow decor items. Perhaps a yellow vase loaded with baby’s breath and a large candle. I’m not sure how much wall space you have, but I love the empty photo frames staggered on the wall. Do a search on Pinterest for gray and yellow bathroom. You’ll find heaps of ideas.

Tammy this is so strange. I live in a mobile home and just redid my bathroom with the colors being gray, yellow and white. I based my colors and patterns off of a shower curtain. I just ordered a dahlia stencil from Amazon. I going to stencil gray and yellow dahlias on a trash can and a first aid box that I spray painted gray first. I have some metal butterflies that I am going to spray paint yellow and put along the wall.

Yellow decorative soaps would look nice on the back of the tub. You could make yellow or white frames to frame the mirrors above the tub. Of course gray, yellow or white towels rolled up and put in a wine rack would look good.

    I saw a cute idea (#22 and #25): https://makespace.com/blog/posts/bathroom-storage-hacks/

Hi, Tammy. My goodness, mirror, mirror on the walls. Is there some way you can remove some mirrors? If you did, I think you would have some wall space to decorate. I would start by the sink area: remove the 2 mirrors and light fixtures and put up 1 pretty mirror and modern light fixture and put up some shelves on the walls for each sink area to hold a lot of the stuff on the cabinet now. I would take down both of the mirrors around the tub and put shelving or cabinets in place of them. I' m sure there will be more and better help from our hometalkers. Good luck. 🌹😘

Yeah I like the corner tub when I first moved in but now it’s a pain. But I did take the two big mirrors down but my husband splashed hair color on one mirror and I can’t get it off.

I would trace the pattern off your curtain and make a stencil out of acetate. Then use cream and yellow paint to stencil under the mirrors.

Other than this buy a large rubber stamp and stamp images around, again under the mirrors.

I would have a basket of bath product on one ledge and on the other a small dish with candles . as far as the walls / mirrors go ....... pretend they are not there use strong command hooks to add pictures hang an ivy or philadendron plant in the corner from the ceiling . The glue that is used to hang those mirrors make it almost impossible to remove. You can but at the risk of ruining your tub and or walls .

    Good luck

The mirrors are actually easy to remove, I had one over my fireplace and it is held up by the top and bottom rods. And they are not even glued to the wall, I was really surprised how easy it was to remove. It just takes two people to remove them.

I'm a fan of using what you have. The shelving over the commode, I'd paint to blend with the walls. The plastic drawers, I'd paint or wallpaper. The mirrors I'd would frame out by putting up trim or less permanent paint edges. I like white accents, towels and such, they are readily available.

You can get molding cut at a big box store and frame the mirrors. I doubt that you could take them down, so framing them will give you a more polished look. I would use white molding. Use the same molding around the sink mirrors. Now, this is the hardest part for all of us, get rid of all clutter possible. Put hair products and makeup in baskets that fit under your sinks. If you don't use it everyday, put it in a separate basket or bin and put that in a closet or under your bed. Bathroom counters with only a soap dispenser or dish and a vase or colored glass bottle will change the overall look completely. Next time you buy towels, buy them in white. You can get them at Kohl's as low as $2.75-3.50 depending on the sale. Bath rugs should be white, also. Look for new cabinet pulls and knobs in either a ceramic white, grey, and yellow or a chrome to match the faucets. If possible paint your cabinets the same white as the molding. If you can't, the new hardware will freshen up the cabinet. If you can get by without the standing rack over the toilet, remove it and get a nicer style poster frame (white) and frame a piece of yellow and gray fabric, perhaps the same as the shower curtain. If you can't lose it, spray paint it black and use either white towels or put your towels in white baskets or white fabric bins. Good luck, you are off to a good start.

Thank you for the great ideas. I have sanded my cabinets, so I can paint them white. I have yellow ceramic cabinet knobs. The mirrors are really easy to remove because they are on a rail at the bottom and the locks are at the top. I had one over my fireplace the same way. Very easy to remove just takes two people and no glue on the back either. I’m take the two big ones around the tub down and also the two at the sinks. Then take one of the big mirrors and place where the two small mirrors were. Then frame around it. But right we are at a stop right now due to the 14 inches of snow.

You can buy shower rods that are the same shape as your tub. Buy 2 more of the shower curtain that you like and hang them on each side of the tub.

I’m still working on my bathroom but had to stop because of the snow. I can’t do any painting or sanding. No ventilation.... can’t open a window or I will have snow in the bathroom 😂

Can you find another one of those shower curtains? You could trim it and paste to the frame part of the tub. Then I would use black for trim. Since you still have open walls, paint them and put shelves between the studs. If you don't want both mirrors cut one to back the shelving.

I have a question, the purpose of remolding was it because your bathroom is cold 🥶 in the winter time ? You wanted to warm it up. I asked because I just came across your post. I also just Painted my master bathroom a grey baby pink thermal insulated curtains over the window beside the garden tub , the curtains I purchased for over the mirrors didn't work so looking for something else. I came across a cute shower curtain on Amazon . The grey is bringing the mountains out . I also in the decorating stage. I am hoping it will warm up my bathroom in the winter ❄️.
