What can I make to put on my daughter's grave for Christmas?
I want to make something to put on my daughters grave. She loved Christmas trees and I have put a real one on before. I'm looking for simple but pretty ideas. Thank you

I really liked the Stay In The Vase Tree idea
a little way down on the page.
It depends on the location of the grave and any regulations of the cemetery.
Sheryle, I'm so sorry about your daughter. It's very hard at this time to be without our loved ones. I spent my Christmas of 1981 in the hospital with my Dad, and sister and brother, my Mother was terminal with pacreatic cancer. I still feel Christmas is somehow not the same after that. There are so many options to decorate. Make your grave cover whatever you feel like, what best makes you feel, " this is what she would like". The Dollar Tree has picks with Christmas decorations. You could get from the craft store a styrafoam circle and make a wreath with the picks. They have hard plastic stems, that can go into the styrafoam. Michael's, A.C. Moore, or Hobby Lobby, has these picks also. Some have berries, with tree like branches, Holly, even a cardinal. You'll find something to make, that will be beautiful I'm sure. Aloha!
Hi Sheryle,
My name is Linda and I'm so sorry for your loss. This is a good time of year to pick up a faux Christmas tree. The size is up to you. Since it's outdoors, I'd suggest decorating it with things like pine cones, nuts, possible garland, dried berries/reeds/grasses, etc. If you want some color, pick up some plastic ribbon or colored netting and create bows that work the size of the tree. I'd tie those tightly on the tree with jute. If you want lights, there are outdoor solar powered lights available. Look through the decorations at the craft stores and/or dollar stores. See what you can find that would be special to her. Just be sure it can stand the weather wherever you live. My heart is with you and I hope this helps.
Hi Sheryle. First off, I want to say I'm sorry about your daughter's passing and send you some hugs.
Secondly, You Tube has some great videos on how to make evergreen grave blankets. Here is one example:
