Getting hair out of fleece is difficult. You need to spend a lot of time rolling with the lint roller or using duct tape to pick it up. We go through tons of these and even so I still always have some amount of hair on fleece at all times.
When you can find the answer to that question, you will become a billionaire . . . The age old question.
In my experience there is fleece and there is good quality fleece. In this arena, you get what you pay for. The cheaper fabrics and items, generally found at lower price or discount stores is the lesser quality and attracts hair and pet fur like a magnet and impossible to get out.
The better quality fleece sold in higher end establishments and big price jump if purchasing by the yard is obviously manufactured differently and I have been able to get them hair and fur free with minimal effort of sticky rollers or a lint brush. Those are the ones that are offered to guests if need be. I use the cheap ones for the pets and myself.
Mind you there are 3 dogs, 6 cats, a canary, a dragon, 3 neighbor dogs and even my ex hubsters 3 dogs. That's a lot of fur, even with everyone getting brushed on a schedule.
So attractive as they might be, save your money and buy the good stuff. Life is short, you deserve it and I bet you have better things to do on a Saturday night than clean hair or fur out of a bargain priced fleece throw or blanket.
Hi Helen, yes I know about hair and throws with cats and dogs. Personally I find nothing to prevent hair from getting on the throw, (cats love to cuddle up on them). but before using it myself or having company I throw it in the dryer on low with a dryer sheet and it comes out without the hair. Here is some information off the www that maybe will help you. Good luck Is there something I can spray on clothing to make it repel pet ...
