How do I remove mold from my deck?
I have a composite deck, similar to Trex. I tried using my power washer to remove mold/mildew that presented after a very rainy several months here in PA. The deck faces south and does get full sun for a significant amount of time. Power washing with water either lifts the fibers of the material, or doesn’t clean away the mold. Help!?!

Bleach
I don't remember what it's called but there is a commercial cleaner you can find at Home Depot for washing decks, exterior walls etc.. It is basically bleach and works like magic
Hello Lesley,
We have a gianomous deck with a waterfront exposure -lots of moisture and mildew troubles -we found this Oxi product depicted below to be very helpful. It sounds like a commercial powerwashing chemical is needed. Be sure not to use too much water pressure on the composite you don’t want to damage it.
I would wipe it with heavy duty Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, followed by a rinse of water to remove the residue.
