Tooth brush, oxy clean solution. You can cheat and use a grout sealant...it reminds me of a nail polish bottle...brush is in the cap.

I actually just used cement paint; it comes in almost any color you can imagine. Keep a bucket of water handy and if you paint "outside" the lines you can immediately clean it up, or I also found that it rubs right away from the tiles after it has dried. I have also used this technique on the mortar between my fireplace bricks. The grout used to be black but I changed it to gray and it brightened up the whole room.
