How do I repair a drywall tape crack on my living room wall before I start painting the room? Thank you!
If you rent then the landlord should do the repairs. If you do anything make sure you get permission from the landlord in writing. You do not want to jeopardize your security deposit or more. Are the walls stucco, plaster? A photo would help.

Probably plaster, your landlord should fix them not you, don't spend your money fixing unless you can deduct from rent. Maybe just hang a nice tapestry or something over it.
Hi Vilma! I understand because I rented for years, and you want your place to be nice and comfy, and you don't want to look at all those cracks, etc. I have used contact paper, wall paper, and you can even hang curtain rods and put curtains up over the problem.....using sheets or sheers even. I even had kitchen counters that were horrible. I covered them with contact paper and it make them look brand new. Here are some great ideas for you to check out!!! My best to you so you can have a nice looking home to enjoy. Merry Christmas!
