How to Care for Leather Furniture
You need to use a good leather cleaner on the recliner. Once that is done, use a good leather conditioner on it to keep it moisturized and supple. I use the Lexol brand cleaners for leather, they have good cleaners and conditioners and even one that does both in one. There vinyl cleaners and conditioners are also excellent. It was recommended to me by a person that made his living repairing vinyl and leather goods, be they automotive or furniture. They can be readily found in auto parts stores and some other stores. I was told not to use ArmorAll on anything, it tends to dry out even vinyl when it is used.
