How do I make a coat rack?

I have coats hanging over the door and have nothing to put them on what can I build or make to put the coats on so I had don't have that leave them hanging on the door

Most free standing coat racks are 4 legs bracing a 3 x 3 inch approx. 5-6' tall piece of wood. Attach legs on each side and add 4 hooks a the top for coats or hats. Google pictures to find one you like. Pretty simple project. If you want one for the wall find two studs behind the dry wall with a stud finder add a piece of wood to your liking and add hooks to that.
You could build a hall tree. You can probably google "hall tree." You could also keep your eyes open for one in a resale or consignment store.

You could put coat hooks on the door.
