You could definitely add trim and molding to it using liquid nails!
Hi Donna. You could add a wood trim around it to frame it out, or even decorative tiles. Good Luck!
If you have some pretty stencils, you could paint designs around the sides?
I personally like it when they are framed but not using miters only square corners.
You could also continue the narrow shelf you have with additional shelves all the way up. (Think the back of a pub bar.) You don't have to go completely across, either. You can also stagger the shelves, anchoring them on each other, the walls and ceiling as well as the base - just not on the mirror. If you don't want the reflective mirror itself, you could always cover a section of it with wallpaper or even acrylic paint.
You could glass etch a lovely design on it and make it look like a piece of glass artwork on the wall.
Hang pot plants in front of it, like ferns look great. The reflection in the mirror looks like more plants..Attach a shelf to the wall just above the full lenth of the mirror, then screw cup hooks in under heath the shelf to hang your plants.....Cheers...
