Put a plastic shield on the window at the bottom
Hi Julie! After dealing with the same problem, I put window film on the lower part of my sink window, and just used a valance. The window film is easy to keep clean, and the valance goes nicely with the other curtains in the room.
Roman shades. Raise and lower as needed.
trouble is im in a rental
Window film works great, is inexpensive and is completely removable, so perfect for a rental.
Wash them, iron them, and treat them with scotch guard.
put a tension rod in the bottom hem of the curtain, raise and lower as needed.
