How do I keep a plastic coffee maker clean?

I have a Mr. Coffee dark brown ..programmable..lots little buttons. For some reason it gets so grimy. What do you suggest i use to clean it please?

Vinegar and a toothbrush
I wipe mine off every day with a damp cloth, grime doesn't build up. However, if you need to clean more thoroughly, use any mild detergent or windex, etc. we use windex for lots of cleaning. there are also many cleaning products for various surfaces.
Run vinegar through a cycle and then several cycles of just water. For the exterior, I just wipe down with a damp cloth to keep clean.
I use Clorox cleanup a few squirts and fill with water and then soak for 1/2 hour then rinse
