The best way to do this is hand sand the table with 220 grit sandpaper. If this doesn't get deep enough, you will need an orbital sander with 120 grit, 150 grit, 180 grit, and 220 grit sandpaper.
If the paint has been there for a short time, rubbing it firmly with baby wipe may remove it. If the paint has been there for a long time, you'll have to remove it by sanding it. A light sanding over the whole surface will probably solve it, so you can just apply a few coats of poly to reseal and protect the surface. Use a fine sandpaper (250+ grit) always going with the grain. Good luck!
