Sprinkle baby powder, baking soda or powdered graphite over the squeaky floorboard and work it into the seams. This will lubricate the wood and should keep the floorboards from rubbing together and squeaking. ... If there's a gap between the joist and the subfloor, add pieces of wood shim until it feels snug
Several way but I just saw a video from this old house that is short and helpful. https://www.bobvila.com/articles/how-to-fix-a-squeaky-floor/
WD40 or powder between them.
WD40 will stain the wood.
Hello, We sucessfully fixed our annoying kitchen hardwood floor squeak a few week ago using one single screw from a kit like this. The kits are in the big box hardware stores.
The screw is placed in the support below and the screw breaks off. Wax crayon covered the repar. Problem sucessfully solved.

Re screw them down
When we had squeky areas in our wooden floors and couldn't access from below, a pro told us to sprinkle talcum powder in between the boards. It worked! but has to be repeated every few months.
sqeeking means they are loose .. that also means you have temp change too so screw them and seal them properly
